We celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee this year ( 60 years of Queen Elizabeth’s reign ). Last year we celebrated the Royal Wedding of Katherine Middleton and Prince William with a special Royal themed lunch and teas as we watched the big event. This year we will also have a Royal themed celebration to mark the special occasion.

On Sunday 17th June at 3pm there will be a concert at Camphill Blair Drummond to raise funds for our Appeal. Tickets are £10 and are available from the Camphill Blair Drummond main office. Refreshments are included and the concert will feature music for piano, ensemble, woodwind and voice.
St John’s day

Midsummer’s day is officially fixed not on the solstice (July 21st) but on June 24th which is also the birthday of St. John.
We celebrate with a Midsummer community barbecue. Each house prepares a salad and drinks and we often eat summer pudding for dessert. If the weather is not good we eat indoors creating the ambiance of summer with bowls of fruit and flowers.
