St Nicholas Day

St. Nicholas was known for secret gift giving and became the model for Father Christmas or Santa Claus. St. Nicholas Day falls early in the Advent season on 6th December and was traditionally celebrated by giving gifts to others. We mark St. Nicholas Day every year at Camphill Blair Drummond by holding an Advent sale on the Saturday closest to the 6th December.
